Season 25 of “Big Brother” is known for throwing curve balls. On Monday, Big Brother unveiled its new cast of 16 contestants, who, like last season, represent a wide range of ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and sexual orientations. CBS has announced the 16 houseguests who will be arriving soon, and a few first-timers are among them for the American Big Brother. Felicia Cannon, a 63-year-old real estate agent, will make history as the first female houseguest on the show to be above 60. And Bowie Jane, a DJ from Melbourne, is the first Aussie to compete in the American series.
On August 2 at 8 p.m. ET, CBS will air the live 90-minute debut, during which the cast will officially move into the home. The performance will be available on Paramount+, both live and on demand. All of the continuous live broadcasts may be seen on the streaming platform. This season of “Big Brother ” will have three weekly airings. New episodes will premiere on Sunday, August 6 at 8 p.m. ET, Wednesday, August 9 at 9 p.m. ET, and Thursday, August 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
In Big Brother 25, what’s the deal with the time laser?
CBS published a video on Friday, July 28, showing fan favorites Danielle Reyes, Frankie Grande, and Britney Haynes “sneaking into” the Big Brother house and getting into all sorts of mischief. To undo the mistakes that contributed to their respective Big Brother season losses, Danielle, Frankie, and Britney snuck in a “time laser.”
Danielle, Frankie, and Britney “unleashed the BIG BROTHER season 25 twist that will be fully revealed in the special 90-minute live move-in episode” on August 2, according to a press release from CBS. On the anniversary show, Chen Moonves mentioned, “If you watch the premiere carefully and closely, you’ll see some old familiar faces.” This season’s theme and twists will undoubtedly involve the possibility of returning to the Big Brother house in time.
Does Big Brother 25 feature Cirie Fields?
Yes! The debut was billed as having “the most unpredictable twist in Big Brother history,” it concluded with the entrance of Cirie Fields, a veteran of four previous seasons of Survivor and the winner of the U.S. edition of The Traitors. Then, Julie Chen Moonves informed us that she, as the seventeenth houseguest, would be participating in the game.

In “Big Brother 25,” what will be the central theme?
This year’s topic has been hinted at by Chen Moonves on Instagram. Fans have hypothesized that the clue may indicate a heroes-versus-villains plot or a concept based on the classic Big Brother competition BB Comics. Later that month, Chen Moonves added to the comics idea by posting a selfie next to a cartoonish cake she’d found in the Big Brother house.
How Many Days Will the Show Run?
Exciting news for Big Brother fans: the season finale has been announced, and at 100 days, Big Brother 25 will be the longest season in the show’s history. Only three previous seasons had lasted for 99 days; the most recent was Season 21 in 2019. This historic first raises the stakes for the audience as they prepare for a long and exciting trip with the houseguests.
